ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST:
Franki Farb is a visual artist and community organizer based in Brooklyn. Their artistic expression serves as a public diary, reflecting on their current curiosities and experiences. By delving into their inner child and tapping into raw emotions, Franki employs various mediums such as photography, videography, collage, sewing, printmaking, and zine making to show these concepts.
A significant motivation behind Franki's artistic endeavors is to let others know they are not alone. Showcasing vulnerability, rawness, play and openness in their work, they inspire those around them to do the same. They believe art has the remarkable ability to unveil the depths of one's soul, and forge connections beyond the confines of language.
