ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This one-hour workshop will present an overview of what an artist grant is and the advantage of thinking strategically when applying. Learn to balance the more objective info about your practice and project with the more subjective story that gets people invested. The emphasis is on creating a captivating narrative will take your grants to the next level.

☆ REQUIREMENTS: Basic knowledge of what an artist grant is. Bonus if you've applied to 1 or 2 in the past! ☆

ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST:
Christine Stoddard is a filmmaker, performer, and artist named one of Brooklyn Magazine's Top 50 Most Fascinating People. She creates comedic, playful, and poetic works under her creative studio Quail Bell Press & Productions. Watch her films, videos, photo slideshows, and live performances on YouTube @stoddardsays. Currently, she is the curator-in-residence at AnkhLave Arts Alliance and an incoming MS Documentary Film candidate at Columbia University.
