SUPPORT POWRPLNT AND EMPOWER THE NEXT GENERATION OF CREATIVES

Founded in 2014, POWRPLNT is a Brooklyn-based media arts organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide by providing digital arts education and access to underserved BIPOC young adults. Our mission is rooted in the belief that access to technology is a right, not a privilege. By connecting over 100 emerging media artists with nearly 1,200 young creatives each year, we equip the next generation with the tools and skills needed to pursue their artistic and creative passions.

POWRPLNT hosts more than 80 free workshops and programs annually, fostering digital literacy, creativity, and community engagement. Our programs empower young adults to explore their potential through technology, encouraging self-expression while offering the resources needed to build brighter futures.

Join us in supporting these future creators, leaders, and innovators. Your donation directly fuels free educational programs that help underserved BIPOC youth discover their voice, gain essential skills, and shape their futures through the power of technology.

FUNDRAISING GOALS

• We need $25,000 to upgrade our audio and visual equipment to increase access to the tools needed for creatives to embark on their visionary and sonic journeys.

• We need $67,000 to expand our offerings of workshops and classes teaching core skills and holistic learning to underserved artists.

• We need $158,000 to transition our operations into full-time capacity and expand our team to meet our new demands.

• We want to create a $1,000,000 fund to start implementing our long-term goal of securing a permanent home for POWRPLNT that will serve as a campus for the next generation of creatives to build a sustainable inter-generational community.
