This class will provide an introduction to CDJs and Rekordbox software. Attendees will gain an introductory level understanding of DJing with CDJs using Rekordbox software. Dee Diggs will cover topics including DJ mixer literacy, CDJ literacy, how use to use Rekordbox, USB selection, song selection, daily DJ habits and DJ culture.
This is part of a Women's Month workshop series called SKILLSHARE, where women of all ages are invited to come and learn the basics of DJing and audio production. Curated by JADALAREIGN.

About the Instructor:
Dee Diggs is a DJ, event curator & organizer who has formerly worked in Boston, MA and is now based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, & femme. Self-described as a selectress with no inhibitions digging & choosing parts that build to adventurous, energetic, seductive, & rapturous sets spanning many genres. She is a current resident at the Shake Boston party at Good Life in downtown Boston. She is also a resident DJ on Brooklyn's Half Moon Radio.
