ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST:

Kenzi, also known as DJ GÜN, is a dynamic Haitian-American creative force with a broad artistic scope that spans across creative direction, DJing, graphic design, project management, multimedia art, and photography.
As the founder of Techniculture, a groundbreaking music and arts production, Kenzi has created an essential platform for Black queer creatives to showcase their talents in an inclusive and safe space.
Kenzi’s artistic vision weaves together threads of Black pop culture as well as African and Caribbean influences. This fusion is reflected in their bold visuals and immersive soundscapes, making Kenzi a voice in the intersection of culture, art, and social activism.

David (DJ Samadhi) is an Orlando based community builder and project strategist from Medellin (Colombia), founder and creative director of Mink’a Collective.
Mink’a is a network of community builders, multifaceted artists and art collectives that act as agents of cultural transformation.
Created in 2022, Minka is the result of years of building a creative community around shared values, where everyone has a place and an opportunity to express themselves while creating opportunities to increase our acquisitive power (individual and communal) and the refinement of technical skills, transforming the societal construct of western individualism into a collectivist approach that replaces competition with collaboration.
