ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
In this workshop, participants will learn to create AI-generated images and transform 2D art into holograms by editing depth maps. They’ll also explore Blender to design and render holograms, blending digital creativity with 3D modeling techniques for stunning visual results. Perfect for artists and tech enthusiasts alike!

ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST:
Ellie is a creative technologist specializing in immersive multimedia art and experiences. She blends 2D and 3D elements, such as collages, digital doodles, and 3D models, with Augmented and Virtual Reality. Her work is developed using tools like Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Lens Studio, and Spark AR.

Ellie collaborated with the Looking Glass creative team to develop their first set of Liteform holographic, fully interactable characters. She also works with creators at Autotroph, helping them develop tools for Blender to expand creative possibilities.

Her passion for intersectionality, real-time render engines, 360 capture, photogrammetry, and open-source tools drives her work. Often starting with analog mediums, she transforms these into digitally enhanced final pieces, collaborating with digital artists, musicians, and developers.
