Legal Basics: Licensing 101
November 16th, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM ET via Zoom

What happens when someone else wants to use your art? Licensing is an agreement between two parties where the owner gives permission to another party to use their brand, copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secrets. Licensing ensures artists are compensated for their work. For musicians, designers, and visual artists, understanding how licensing works is crucial to building a successful business. Join us for an intro and come with questions.

Anibal Luque, Co-Founder & Vice-President of POWRPLNT, grew up in Paterson, NJ, and graduated from New York Law School.
