CHROMA is a cross-disciplinary creative studio founded by Ladin Awad, June Canedo & Sienna Fekete. As a collective, we are intentional in our efforts to diversify our industries and nurture a cultural consciousness that centers womxn of color. Chroma offers strategies for innovative programming, visual content, immersive experiences, effective partnerships, and community empowerment.
Herban Cura is a city based organization dedicated to providing workshops, events, and inclusive spaces of healing, learning, and collaboration. They make these spaces accessible to varying communities in New York City by offering sliding scale pricing and hosting gatherings in every borough.
BUFU is a collaborative living archive centered around (PAN) Black and (Pan) Asian cultural and political relationships. We, the founders of this project, are a collective of queer, femme, and non-binary, black and east-asian artists and organizers. Our goal is to facilitate a global conversation on the relationship between black and asian diasporas, with an conversation on relationship between black and diasporas, with an emphasis on building solidarity, de-centering whiteness, and resurfacing our deeply interconnected and complicated histories. We attempt to achieve this through our collaborative programming, our visual archives, and through building long-term partnerships with collectives, organizations, and individuals.
